OPERA FACTORY  CREATION WORKSHOP
& STORAGE FOR SET/PROPS/COSTUMES

Opera Factory's creation and storage have  for several years been housed in Newmarket by generous sponsorship of Two Double Seven.  That building is shortly to be demolished and we are looking for a new home for these activities.

We would love an area in an old warehouse or whatever, preferably handyish in the fringe city area, and with at least part with  about 4.5m clear ceilimg height.    We'll look at anything -

Opera Factory Mission:

To provide and develop understanding and enjoyment of the operatic art form through the development of young performers and new audiences.

The Opera Factory Trust is a registered charitable trust, and operates a dedicated intimate opera theatre in Auckland's central suburb of Newmarket.

Opera Factory provides a platform for singers, composers, repetiteurs, and other operatic practitioners to develop their skills and experience, and at the same time offer a varied and entertaining programme of opera and opera-based events in a friendly and comfortable "fringe theatre" style.

Our mantra is "Performance  Opportunity  Education & Training", and we provide  classes and performance opportunities for performers at all levels, especially those intending or embarking on professional opera careers.
